BMS kick start – Sleeping Piigbox pack??

I was out all day recently and hadn’t charge my own Piigbox up for ages! So I ran out of charge and the BMS (protection board) cut power to protect the cells. This is exactly what’s supposed to happen. BUT when I tried to charge the Piiglet pack with my lipo charger, it refused because the pack was essentially switched off. That’s when I realised it needed a kick start to reset the bms.

SO, if you’ve done the same with your piigbox. Make one of these bad boys up (see below) It’s just 2 male XT60 sockets joined (no jokes please). All you need to do then is attach a lipo to it for an instant, and it will wake the board up. Then you can charge up as normal.
